Dr Samantha Meehan
Dr Samantha Meehan is a Non-Executive Director and strategic advisor with global executive experience in natural resources (agriculture, mining and energy - oil, gas, power). She brings credibility through lived experience in challenging geopolitical arenas and natural environments (tropical through arctic).
Through her executive career she delivered value leading strategy, decisions, risk, stakeholders and complex multinational negotiations with joint venture partners and governments. A PhD qualified geologist, she has worked in technical roles, major capital project management (CAPEX up to US$50b), commercial and governance including Directorships and Shareholder Representation for Shell in Joint Ventures and Government and Industry Association boards and committees.
As a Non-Executive Director she provides effective leadership and oversight to protect and grow value for companies navigating complexity and uncertainty.
In her capacity as an advisor, she supports boards and senior executives to navigate business strategy, international growth, including new country entry and exit, transformation, decarbonisation, diversification of value chains and geopolitical risk.
