Dr Samantha Meehan is a Non-Executive Director and strategic advisor with significant global experience in the natural resources industry. With an international career she brings credibility through lived experience in challenging environments (tropical through arctic), managing strategy, risk and stakeholders and collaborating with multinational partners and governments. She has worked in technical roles (geologist, safety and environment), major capital project management (projects up to US$50b; pipelines, platforms, LNG plants, renewable generation (solar)), commercial (business development, complex negotiations (including Government Licenses, new Joint Ventures, dispute resolution) and governance including Directorships and Shareholder Representation in Joint Ventures including ExxonMobil, Chevron, bp, Lightsourcebp, APLNG, Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Greenland NOC, Trinidad & Tobago’s National Gas Company, Chinese National Petroleum Company (CNPC) and Chinese National Overseas Oil Company (CNOOC).

As a Non-Executive Director she protects and grows value for companies, effectively overseeing risk and deliver results through quality decision making together with the Board. In her capacity as an advisor, she supports boards and senior executives to navigate business risks and deliver increased value and retain their licence to operate in a complex and uncertain world.
